After unsuccessfully trying to breastfeed my first born. I dealt with nipple confusion, exclusive pumping and low supply issues. I never thought I would be able to nurse my second born. However this time around I had Jen's help! She was at my apartment the morning after I got home from the hospital and addressed my positioning and latch issues that two lactation consultants at the hospital could not do. During the non-stop cluster feeding sessions she cheered me on in a not too saccharine but more of "I been through it. It sucks. Keep at it" way, which was exactly what I needed. She has been there for me through many of the breastfeeding ailments with advice that worked! Because of her I never needed to supplement with formula and was able to do extended breastfeeding! I am still at it two plus years later. So if anything Jen is too effective!

As a first time mom I was completely at a loss for how to breastfeed. Lack of sleep mixed with raging hormones plus latch issues had me a wreck. I had no idea that my milk had come in when it did and became painfully engorged. Not only did Jenn travel over an hour multiple times at the height of the Covid pandemic to help relieve my engorgement, she worked with me and baby on breastfeeding techniques. She also showed me how to use some of my registry items (like my scale to make sure my baby was gaining weight with breastfeeding and how to tie and wear my baby wrap carrier) and reviewed the 5 S’s of soothing a crying baby. She was even available over the phone when I needed further help. I really had no idea what areas I even needed help in and Jenn was there for me at the most important time in my life. She showed me the way and encouraged me to breastfeeding success. I ended up being able to breastfeed for over a year and I owe a lot of thanks to Jenn for that.
